Through anti-racism education and diversity and inclusion workshops, panel discussions, awareness initiatives, and collaborative activities, we aim to encourage learning, connection, and positive community engagement. Anti-Racism Community Workshop

In September 2026, The Inclusion Initiative Association (TINIA) brought community members together to increase understanding of racism, strengthen cross-cultural awareness, and promote more inclusive communities. Supported by the Government of Alberta’s Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Grant, participants explored the impacts of racism, practical ways to address discrimination, and pathways forward. Participants also shared their experiences and perspectives, contributing to meaningful dialogue and mutual learning.

Black History Month Workshop

In February 2026, The Inclusion Initiative Association (TINIA) hosted a Black History Month educational workshop focused on celebrating Black achievement while addressing the realities of anti-Black racism. Through presentations, discussions, and interactive activities, participants explored the experiences and contributions of Black communities and engaged in meaningful conversations on equity, inclusion, and social change.
